Hello, Timberline students and families! My name is Adam Shockey, and I am excited to serve in this role as your principal; it truly is an honor to be in this position. I have been part of the Waukee Schools for the last seven years, first as a teacher, then as the assistant principal of WMS, and I’m beginning my first year as principal of Timberline. I have worked in a variety of school districts prior to Waukee, including Waverly, IA, Wheaton, IL, and Chandler, AZ. Having been a part of a number of different districts, I can say with certainty both as an educator and as a parent, that I am proud of the work we do here in Waukee, and I am excited to carry on that high quality work.
On a personal note, I have a wonderful wife and three children, Caden, Graysen, and Marin. They certainly keep me busy! Caden and Graysen are students in our district, so my family also benefits from the quality education Waukee offers to its students.
